The Program

           The Courses offered are BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), BCA (Bachelor of   

               Computer Application) and BSc IT (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Sikkim

               Manipal University (Directorate of Distance Education) whereas in place of Counselling, regular

               tutorial classes are by regular faculty conducted @ 5 periods a day for 5 days a week. All these

               courses are recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource

               Development, and is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) Govt. of India. Sikkim

               Manipal University ( Directorate of Distance Education) has been rank 1^st for Result & Efficiency

               and adjudged one of the top three   Institute in the Country among 30 Best  Institute of Distance   

              Learning.                    

B.B.A. [Bachelor of Business Administration]

• BBA is a 3 years degree course.
• B.B.A is considered by the corporate world as the most useful under graduate program since it helps the students to acquire insight into management education and practices from the very beginning .
• Students graduating with BBA are at advantage not only to undertake the MBA program from reputed institutions but will also greatly improve their prospect of employability in any organization because of their managerial skills and expertise they acquire.
• On successful completion of the course, the students are eligible to appear in any competitive examinations like, UPSC, W,B.C.S , Banking, Railways, Combined Defense Exam, Central Police Organization etc.

B.C.A [ Bachelor of Computer Application ]

• BCA is a 3 years degree course.
• The Course aim to provide strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, programming basics, logical and numerical methods, Networking and Internet. Database and Application packages.
• After completion of the course student will become capable to work as an active team member in any middle level software industry or will be eligible to pursue MCA program to improve their employability in high level software industries.
• The program focuses on basics of computer and internet technology leading to development of programming , analytical skills and software management.

B.Sc.IT [ Bachelor of Science in Information Technology ]

• B.Sc.IT is a 3 years degree course.
• The Course aim to provide strong knowledge of computer fundamentals, programming basics, logical and numerical methods, Networking and Internet. Database and Communication Technology.
• After completion of the course student will become capable to work as an active team member in any middle level software industry or will be eligible to pursue M.Sc.IT program or MCA program to improve their employability in high level software industries.
• The program focuses on basics of computer and Communication Technology leading to development of programming , analytical skills and software management.

D.I.T [ Diploma in Information Technology ]

·         DIT is awarded after completion of 1 year (2 semester) of BSc IT (Bachelor of Science in

             Information Technology.

·        The Course aim to provide basic knowledge of computer fundamentals, programming basics, logical and numerical methods. Database and Application packages.

·        This course aim to enlarge the scope of additional qualification required to improve the career prospect.

·        On acquision of this diploma, candidate wish to pursue BscIT they will also become eligible for lateral entry to III semester.

• Any middle level software industry or will be eligible to pursue MCA program to improve their employability in high level software industries.
