The Institute

B.B.Pradhan Management College [BMC] is a tertiary education division of the Rockvale Academy, which was founded by Mr B.B.Pradhan, one of the few Indian citizen to win the prestigious award "International Order of Merit" in 1984. The School has acquired an image and reputation as one of the primary residential school in Eastern India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

B .B.Pradhan Management College [BMC] happens to be the first Management Institute to be established in this region to bring the professional education which so far remained beyond the reach of large section of the population.

This institute came into existence in August 2003 and offered a 3 Years Degree Course in B.B.A [Bachelor of Business  Administration]  from Sikkim Manipal University [DE] with only 20 students on its roll. In 2004, two more courses were introduced i.e. B.C.A and B.Sc.IT. To date three batches of students totaling 155 have GRADUATED from this institution :

            1^st   Batch  2003-2006 – BBA – 18

            2^nd  Batch 2004 -2007 – BBA – 44 , BCA – 13, BScIT -18

            3^rd Batch 2005 – 2008 -  BBA -  44, BCA - 18

As on date , we have 3 Batches of Students in BBA,  3 Batches in BCA and 2 Batchs of BScIT with 376 students on our roll. Considering the wider acceptance and preference ,it has been decided to offer DIT [Diploma in Information Technology] from Current session commencing from August 2009.
